CSA time.....

I am little late getting this posted but I have some great news!!!!!

We are now able to offer our produce via a CSA.  CSA stands for locally community supported agriculture.  Each interested party can purchase a share for the spring, summer or fall and receive a weekly delivery of fresh produce.

We have partnered up with the great folks at BEM GENERAL in Owensville, MO.

Production Update

Tomatoes are about 4 ft tall with lots of fruit.  Broccoli (the far left) and cabbage (middle) are almost ready and the Romaine (right) will be harvested in the morning.

High Tunnel Tomatoes are Planted

Nothing beats the smell of tomato plants in March!

These little plants started as seed weeks ago and waited patiently while the snow and ice took over the month of February.

We worked the ground, laid the drip take and covered up with plastic mulch on Saturday. This makes for the earliest tomato plantings we have ever done.  Fingers crossed that the wintery weather is done for the year!
